Wow Lord...how You speak to me! I just got a check in the mail for double the amount owed. I "thought" about all the bills I could take care of by cashing it and how much easier my life would be...it was for over $4,000.00
But then the Holy Spirit guided me to the phone and I called them to let them know of the mistake. I am ashamed of my thoughts Lord and I thank You for correcting me. Due unto others is what You taught. It is also what You did

I asking that You fill their heart with forgiveness as this is such a huge issue in marriage. Send in the Holy Spirit for guidance and send them to consult with someone who can help. Also bless the children for people can sometimes forget they are a victim in this also. We are so human to always but our needs first so help us to remember, once again, you are first in our lives.

Can't comprehend the ability of the families who forgive the murderer.God I ask that you give them special blessings for their act of kindness and fill the hole in their heart with the Holy Spirit
As for me I ask that you help me to forgive those that have wronged me. Help me to remember it is just about stuff and of this world. I know I need to keep my eyes on the 'big prize' but my human-ess just gets in the way.

Dear Lord with all the hurt I hear about on the news am I really so bad off? Don't I really have it pretty good? Don't I have all that I need and some of what I 'want'? I pray that you help me to remember that stuff is stuff and I won't be taking it with me because I won't be needing it. I've always loved the account of Stephen, and how his face was "like an angel" when he was being stoned to death for his testimony and witness.
Yes, may we remember the cost as well as the joy that is set before us. Stephen beheld heaven and his faith was what brought his witness the supernatural effect. Our witness too, will be supernatural if we entrust our faith to Him who calls us, and in obedience proclaim the truth of Jesus' death and resurrection unashamed.

Help us to not be a part of the world that judges everything on beauty and instant gratification dear Lord. 'Honor our parents' is a teaching from you that we should naturally want to obey. As I see the gray coming in my own hair Lord help me to understand to be thankful to You, as You never have that chance to turn gray because You laid Your life down for me on the cross as the best gift I could ever receive.

I also pray Jesus that you come along side my friend who is unmarried and due to have a baby soon. That she and the father are able to come to an understanding...even with all the complications of the circumstances...something that will be the best for the baby, Your child, that You have chosen. I am so thankful that she chose life for this baby but I know she will need Your help and guidance in the raising of this precious gift.
May You also give strength to Your people to stay pure before marriage and then abortion doesn't become an issue. We all need the Holy Spirit to guide us in all of our thoughts and to keep our eyes on the big prize...You sweet Jesus.

How great is our God? Infinitely good, so much more than we deserve. We are chosen...by Him...to be his child and loved.
When was the last time you really listened to the words of the songs in church? When was the last time you allowed yourself to be so moved that a tear or 2 ran down the cheek?
My challenge is that for Lent you swap out all that time you spend worrying about 'stuff' (which doesn't help anyway)and that you turn that into prayer time with Jesus. Watch, open your eyes, for the miracles He does for you!
Lord and Savior thank you for all You do for us as Christians. Show us the path, lead us and keep us on the right path to You and not the worldly path to 'stuff'.
